Every great food concept has an origin story — and Joey’s Wings is no different. Before the menu expansions, the Heat-O-Meter, and the orange branding, there was a simple idea: make wings people could feel good about eating.
No seed oils.
No deep frying.
No shortcuts.
Just real food, real flavor, and a whole lot of passion for clean ingredients.
We started with one question:
“What would wings taste like if we didn’t drown them in deep-fryer oil?”
The answer became our foundation. We baked—not fried—our wings, experimented with house-made marinades, and developed bold flavor profiles without relying on industrial oils or processed shortcuts. Customers immediately noticed the difference. The flavor was cleaner. The texture was better. And the feeling after eating? Lighter, without losing any of the satisfaction wings are supposed to deliver.
Word spread quickly. What began as a few small orders soon turned into a steady flow of repeat customers requesting our wings week after week. Corporate offices, events, private gatherings — everyone loved that they could enjoy wings without the heavy, greasy aftermath.
Those catering days taught us two things:
- People wanted cleaner comfort food.
- Our wings could stand on their own as a brand.
That’s when Joey’s Wings truly began to take shape.
From there, we expanded the menu, tested new flavors, refined our marinades, and built out the brand identity you know today — bold, bright, clean, and unapologetically flavor-driven. But even as the brand grew, the mission never changed.
Today, every item on the Joey’s Wings menu is rooted in the same promise we made from day one:
Real food. No seed oils. Oven-baked wings. House-made sauces. Big flavor without compromise.
Whether you’ve been with us since those early catering orders or you just discovered us recently, you’re tasting a concept built slowly, intentionally, and with an obsession for doing things the right way.
And this is just the beginning.
